Maria is the beautiful daughter of our award winning herdsire, Dom Savone. She has a large frame, excellent bite, lovely head and a very fine fleece, which is clearly evident by her histograms.
Maria has the genetics that are an asset to any breeding program wanting to add fineness to their herd. Her dam had an AFD of 23.4 and a CV of 16.4 at 7 years and has been a wonderful mother to five award-winning females. Maria’s first cria is Spirit Song Frangelica Marie (SOLD), a medium fawn female out of Calypso, a rose grey son of Accoyo Grand Master. Frangelica, like her dam, has a very fine fleece that is consistent. Her second cria was a rose grey female out of Bisturi, Spirit Song Tblisi (SOLD), she is strong and vigorous and her fleece is dense and crimpy. Her 2010 male cria was sired by Enjoy the Journey, Spirit Song Blessed Journey also known as J.J. (SOLD).

Dona Maria's Cria
Maria has had three crias to date: Spirit Song Frangelica Maria (SOLD), Spirit Song Tbilisi (SOLD), and Spirit Song Blessed Journey (SOLD). Frangelica is a beautiful fawn female and her sire is Calypso, a fine fleeced rose grey out of two white. Frangelica has a very fine fleece like her mother. Maria was bred to another rose grey, Bisturi and produced Tbilisi, a lovely rose grey female who has great presence and a dense soft fleece Congratulations to the Steinbecks who showed Tbilisi in the halter class at the NIAE and brought home a blue ribbon! Blessed Journey is a fine fleeced alpaca just like his mother.
